The Blue Door

The Blue Door hosts a collection of antique, hand-selected pieces of art, furniture, clothing, and accessories. In this three-story building, you will be able to hunt for vintage treasures and as well as some more modern pieces.

The Lark

Shalhoob’s Funk Zone Patio

This family owned and operated spot is a butcher shop and outdoor restaurant all-in-one! You can order bbq-style meats and sides at the counter along with local beers and wines. A great place to visit on a sunny day.


Test Pilot

A tiki-style, craft cocktail bar found in the heart of the Funk Zone! This joint is serving boozy and slushy tropical island inspired drinks in a fun atmosphere. Test Pilot is a rare find in a place like Santa Barbara so make sure to stop by!

Topa Topa

Topa Topa is a brewery that originated in Ventura, CA and opened up a modern and spacious taproom in the Funk Zone. The beer selection is diverse and for those looking to explore more, the building it is located in also holds businesses like Fox Wine Co, Lama Dog Taproom, and The Nook Eatery.

Margerum Tasting Room

One of the more popular wine tasting rooms in the Funk Zone and for good reason! It is located just a block away from State Street and offers a variety of wines including tastings of their renowned Rhône varietals, Sauvignon Blanc, and Rosé. Day or night, you can enjoy a glass of vino in their chic indoor space or heated patio.
