Enterprise Fish Co.

This was one of the first places I visited when I moved to Santa Barbara because of its proximity near Stearn’s Wharf. Inside, I found it to be an eclectic mix of visitors, locals, and seafarers enjoying the “Best Happy Hour in Town”. This is without a doubt one of the ideal spots to wash your day away with a cold beer and a plate of mesquite grilled artichokes. Not to mention, you won’t feel any guilt about the bill!

The Cruisery

My favorite time to visit The Crusiery is after a long trip through the Tuesday Farmer’s Market on State Street. I end up at their bar with a bag full of fresh produce and handcrafted items, ready to indulge in the “hoppiest hours”. From 3-7PM, a unique and well-crafted menu of drinks or snacks is available for only $2-$7. If that doesn’t sell you, stop by to take a picture under their infamous “Choose Hoppiness” wall mural for a solid insta post.

The Boathouse

The Boathouse should be on everyone’s bucketlist for a first time trip to the west coast: the outdoor bar and patio offer panoramic views of Hendry’s Beach and the Douglas Family Preserve. Their happy hour menu is available Sunday- Thursday from 3-6pm. If you ask me, this is the best time to have a light snack and a creative cocktail after a long morning in the Santa Barbara sunshine.

Sama Sama

A unique farm- to-table spot on Upper State that is serving quality Southeast Asian inspired dishes. Take a seat at their spacious bar or the light-strung patio and enjoy their happy hour from 5-7PM. My suggestion is to sip on one of their house cocktails – all made with fresh ingredients and a lot of care. Pair that with the signature wings and you have the perfect late afternoon snack for under $20!

Santa Barbara Fishouse

If you harbor a love for delicious cocktails, fresh seafood, and oceans views then I have found your paradise! Right across the street from the Santa Barbara waterfront – this seafood spot is always crowded with people looking for the best catch and cocktail combo! I absolutely love sitting on their side patio and enjoying a dozen oysters with a crisp glass of white wine. If this isn’t your cup of tea, their happy hour menu offers a large variety of discounted snacks, beer, wine, and cocktails!
