I don’t know about you but there is absolutely nothing better than combining the acts of drinking and saving money! Lucky for you and me, Atlanta has a multitude of establishments with great vibes and even better happy hour specials. I am going to run you through the list of my favorite places to sip, snack, and save!

Golden Hours

Do you want to feel a little fancy? Imagine yourself sipping on a perfectly-chilled martini in a 60’s-style diner’s club. Interested? If the answer is yes, Golden Eagle is the place for you. This trendy spot has become popular for romantic rendezvous and elegant evenings with close friends. If you want to get the most out of these nights, start early: from 5-7PM you can munch on $5 small plates, enjoy a $5 glass of house wine, or partake in one of their $7 traditional-style cocktails.

Spanish Sips & Tapas

Appropriately located in Krog Street Market, Bar Mercado is an eatery with the look and feel of a Spanish tapas bar. From 5-7 PM daily, you can munch on a complimentary chef’s snack with each alcoholic beverage that you purchase! There is something truly authentic about sitting at the bar, sipping on a glass of cava, and biting into a freshly-made torta. If you are a lover of wine: stop by at anytime on Sunday for half-off all bottles.

Cocktails & Coastal Bites

$1 oysters, $1 shrimp, $5 house wines, $3 local beers, and $7 Aperol spritz. Have I gotten you excited yet?! You can enjoy this exceptional happy hour daily, from 4 to 6 PM at Lure: a coastal-inspired restaurant located in the heart of Midtown. This spot is providing a breath of fresh (& a little salty) air to this bustling city. So, if you are a lover of fresh seafood, personable staff, and deliciously- crafted drinks: make sure to add this establishment at the top of your list.

A French Affair

Bread & Butterfly is a bright, welcoming spot in Inman Park that mimics the intimacy of a French bistro- the perfect place to enjoy a warm cappuccino or a hard cocktail. Every Monday-Saturday, this restaurant hosts a ‘L’Apero’, the French version of a happy hour, from 4-6PM. During this time, you can taste European-inspired bites such as crostinis, marinated olives, and charcuterie plates. Wash them down with half-priced glasses of wine and you’ll be ‘feeling French’ in no time.
