Looking for date night ideas in Atlanta, Georgia? This city is perfect place to add some excitement to your dating life: it is filled with many romantic and entertaining spots that will guarantee a unique time with your loved one.
Over the past couple of years, I was lucky enough to be able to enjoy many memorable dates with my beau. From my experiences, I have accumulated a list of options that will inspire your next special night out. Below is my list of unique date night ideas in Atlanta that you can plan for you and your loved one.
Enjoy a Screening Under the Stars
Take “movie night” to the next level by going to Atlanta’s only drive-in. For only $9 you can watch two newly released movies at the Starlight Six Drive-In Theatre. Don’t forget to pack something to nibble on!
Get a Little Competitive
If you and your date like something that is intellectually stimulating, then trivia is the perfect pick! I suggest heading over to The Vortex in Little Five Points for their “Trivia Tuesdays”. From 9 pm to 11 pm, you can share pitchers of beer and munch on insanely delicious burgers while putting your cultural knowledge to the test.
Take Your Own Food Tour
If you are a foodie and you haven’t visited Buford Highway then you are missing out. This road is so long it connects three different counties and holds restaurants with authentic cuisines from all over the world. My favorites include: Lee’s Bakery, Nam Phuong, Canton House, The Havana Sandwich Shop and Pho Dai Loi 2. There is nothing more fun than trying weird foods with someone you are crushing on!

Explore Outside the Perimeter
There’s nothing more romantic than getting lost in the woods! One of the great things about Atlanta is that you can travel just a few miles outside of the city and find numerous trailheads to hike on. I highly recommend downloading the “All Trails” app – this will help you narrow down where to go by difficulty and terrain.
Picnic in Piedmont
Make the “dinner date” more interesting by doing it al fresco. Stop at the Trader Joe’s on Monroe Drive and pick out some delicious, healthy snacks. They also have wine in a can which is perfect for the ‘no glass’ rule! It’s a short walk to Piedmont Park– find a shaded spot, unroll a blanket, and get ready for some great people watching.
Do you and your loved one share a need to be pampered? Who doesn’t, right? Take your next date to Treat Your Feet, an award- winning and affordable spa. For $30 each, you can experience a 1 hour, reflexology foot massage that includes 8 minutes of a head and shoulders rub down. BTW, its BYOB so bring a bottle of wine to share during this ultimate relaxation experience.
